We are Manu & Amélie, and we are delighted to welcome you to this apartment that means so much to us. We fell in love with Wimereux and its wide beaches, and we wanted to create here a comfortable place where you will feel right at home.
Whether you've come for walks along the seafront, sunsets over the sea or simply to rest — enjoy every moment, including the private enclosed garden and its two terraces, available exclusively for you.

House rules
A few simple rules to ensure a great stay for you, your neighbours and future guests.
No smoking anywhere in the property
Please respect the neighbours and keep noise down, especially after 10 PM
Don't slam the door when entering or leaving
No unannounced guests — maximum capacity is 4 people
No illegal activities on the premises
Please sort your waste (see Waste section)
Pets welcome! The enclosed garden is available for them — please pick up after your pet on the lawn
The sofa and bed are not reserved for pets
No smoking inside — please smoke in the garden and collect your cigarette ends
Please put outdoor furniture back after use
The sofa bed
The sofa bed is in the living room. It comfortably sleeps 2 people with its top-quality mattress.
📦 Where to find the bedding
- The duvet is in the living room unit
- The pillows are in the sofa bed's internal storage
How to unfold it
- 1Remove the sofa cushions and set them aside
- 2Pull the strap located at the centre of the sofa backrest
- 3Unfold the mattress by pulling the frame towards you until it is flat
- 4Fetch the duvet from the living room unit and the pillows from the internal storage
How to fold it back on departure
- 1Remove the sheets
- 2Put the duvet back in the living room unit
- 3Fold the mattress back by pushing the frame towards the sofa
- 4Return the seat to sofa position and replace the cushions
The alcove
The alcove is an intimate, cosy space, designed as a true retreat. The bed is set between two partitions, creating the atmosphere of a ship's cabin — perfect for sleeping to the imaginary sound of the waves.
🛏️ Bedding
The bed will be made up on arrival with clean sheets and pillows. An extra blanket is in the living room unit.
💡 Lighting
Wall lights are fitted in the alcove, with integrated sockets to charge your phone or any other device without leaving the bed.
🧳 Storage
Hangers are available at the partition edge, just at the entrance to the alcove, to hang your clothes within easy reach.
The oven & microwave

The full instruction manual is in the cupboard above the microwave.

🍳 Ceramic hob
The hob is ceramic. Wait until it has completely cooled before cleaning.
🧀 Candle raclette (autumn / winter)
Fancy some comfort food on a cold day? Candle raclette pots are available for you!
- Candles are provided
- 2 to 3 candles are needed for good heat
🔥 Electric plancha (spring / summer)
An electric plancha is available in season for grilling — ideal on the terrace.
The dishwasher
The dishwasher is already filled with salt and rinse aid. A tablet is available — the one with powder is for the dishwasher (not the washing machine).
How to use it
- 1Roughly rinse the dishes and load them
- 2Place a tablet in the door compartment
- 3Press the Power button
- 4Close the door — it starts on its own!
- 5Slightly open the door at the end of the cycle to let the dishes dry
The washing machine
Detergent pods are available — the pod for the washing machine is the one without powder (not the dishwasher one). A clothes airer is also available.
How to use it
- 1Load the laundry, not exceeding 3/4 of the drum capacity
- 2Place a pod directly in the drum (not in the tray)
- 3Select the programme: Cotton 40°C for everyday use, Delicate for underwear
- 4Press Start
- 5Remove the laundry as soon as the cycle ends to avoid creases

A clothes airer is available in the apartment.

The heated towel rail instructions are posted directly in the bathroom.

Waste sorting
In Wimereux, waste sorting is mandatory. The bins are at the entrance of the villa — you can't miss them.

Checkout checklist
⏰ Check-out before 11:00 AM
Check-in from 3:00 PM for the next stay
- Return the sofa bed to sofa position and replace the cushions
- Leave used towels on the bathroom floor
- Empty the fridge of your food
- Empty and/or run the dishwasher before leaving
- Take out the bins and empty them
- Wash up any remaining dishes
- Check cupboards, drawers and heating
- Pick up pet waste from the lawn (if you have a pet)
- Put outdoor furniture back if you used it
- Turn off all lights
- Close all windows and the door
- Leave the keys in the key box
